The mod bot needs your bot account set up on Streamer.bot and also to be a moderator on your channel.
Broadcaster and mods only. API keys cannot be set from chat — use !modsetup for that.
No. Smart Mod Bot works on its own. If you also run Smart AI Bot v2.0, you can share the same AI provider and API key — tick that option on the AI Judge tab.
No — use a separate Streamer.bot action for each bot. One action for chat, one for moderation.
Use your broadcaster account (not a mod or bot account). Check that chat triggers are added, the action is enabled, and System.Windows.Forms.dll + System.Drawing.dll are in References. See Streamer.bot logs for errors.
Dry-run detects violations and reports what it would do in chat/logs, but takes no actions — no deletes, timeouts, or bans. Leave it ON for the first week, then run !mod dryrun off when you trust it.
Unlikely. Patterns alone can never auto-ban. Borderline messages go to the AI judge with recent chat context, trust score, and strike history — so gaming hype and jokes are usually allowed.
Yes. The bot needs mod permissions to delete messages, timeout, and ban on Twitch/YouTube/Kick.
The bot is free. Local detection is free and instant. The AI judge only runs on uncertain cases — use Groq/Gemini free tiers, OpenRouter free models, or local Ollama to keep AI costs near zero.
Keys are stored in Streamer.bot global variables on your machine. They are never hardcoded in the script and cannot be set from chat.
