The most ULTIMATE Twitch clip shoutout tool for streamers, tons of customizable options including themes, and Streamer.bot built in with API fallback.
Click the bar below to copy the Streamer.bot import string. It creates the clip-fetch action Ultimate Shoutout needs.
You need Streamer.bot (recommended), the customizer URL, and an OBS Browser Source. Twitch API credentials are optional but recommended for fallback, and the ability to show the LIVE badge.
Default command word is so (configurable in the customizer). !shoutout always works as an alias. Permissions default to broadcaster and mods only.
Recommended. Auto mode uses Streamer.bot GetClipsForUser first with Twitch Helix fallback. Helix-only mode works with Twitch credentials in the overlay URL but skips Streamer.bot clip fetch.
Optional for Streamer.bot-only clip fetching. Required for Helix fallback in Auto mode, LIVE badge, profile refresh, and Helix-only mode. Create a free app at dev.twitch.tv.
OBS Browser Source uses a separate profile. Regenerate the overlay URL after setting Streamer.bot password and Twitch credentials — they are embedded in the URL on Generate. Check the preview panel connection indicator.
The channel may have no clips in your date range, or filters may be too strict. Widen clip age, lower view minimums, or clear game/duration filters. Confirm the login name is correct.
Verify the action MBT - Ultimate Shoutout - Fetch Clip exists and is enabled. Re-paste the latest fetch-clip.cs after Streamer.bot upgrades. Also check if your Twitch account is connected under Platforms in Streamer.bot.
Yes. Enable Auto shoutout on raid in the Behavior section.
No. The generated URL can contain your Twitch Client Secret and Streamer.bot password. Treat it like a password — only paste it into your OBS Browser Source.
Yes. Ultimate Shoutout is free. Twitch API and Streamer.bot are also free. You only need a Twitch developer app if you use Helix features.
